Question by Smartie_Pants: What is this? (Old photo album and Japan related.)?
My dad brought home some old albums (1958-1964-ish) and the pages were all trying to stick to the old pics so he put them in a new album. My mamaw let me have the album. I was going to remove the cover, cut out the Photo Album square and put it in my “Family History Album”. Here is what the old album looks like:
http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h185/Shera_Melton/Picture178.jpg
I carefully took the fabric cover off. The inside of the album looks like this:
http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h185/Shera_Melton/Picture181.jpg
and I folded up the carboard liner to take if the fabric and got this:
http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h185/Shera_Melton/Picture180.jpg
on both sides were stacks of these old newspaper looking papers all in Japanese:
http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h185/Shera_Melton/Picture182.jpg
The stack was a little over 1/2 an inch thick. Are these Japanese newspapers? I found a date on one -1962.
Are they worth anything? We could use the money.
Best answer:
Answer by MissWongNope they’re not worth anything. It was just made in Japan. That’s how they make things cheaply.

Stamp Collecting: The Advantage of Albums
Since the dawn of postage stamps, stamp collecting had been one of the most popular hobbies since then. With over 20 million of stamp collectors in the United States alone, stamp collecting is definitely a solid form of leisure pursuit that nobody can easily eliminate in the American history.
As more and more people are still adding up to the number of stamp collectors in the U.S., experts believed that the number would continue to grow especially now that different tools and devices were created to make stamp collecting easier to manage.
Experts contend that stamp collecting is simpler and more enjoyable if you have the exact devices and tools to assist you in identifying, evaluating, handling, and organizing your stamps.
True blue stamp collectors have different stamp collecting tools that assist them in collecting different kinds and classifications of stamps with pleasure and the expertise. With the advent of the Internet, there are some software programs that were technically designed to aid the stamp collectors in organizing, evaluating, and monitoring their stamps.

Question by S_L: Need help organizing my coin collection!?
I have lots of coins & paper money from pretty much all over the world and I have no clue what to do with them. Right now I’m keeping them stuffed in a small box and that box is overflowing! I am looking for a nice album or a box that will help me keep them labelled and organized. Does anyone where know where I can buy one in Toronto?
Best answer:
Answer by What time isn’t itHey awesome! Sounds like you have more coins than I do, I generally do the same thing but I guess it’d be a good idea to store my coins properly to prevent wear. Mostly I collect silver coins and even have a standing liberty quarter that I found when I was a little kid digging in our back yard! I was digging with a spoon making dirt castles haha.
Anyways, You might check out amazon. I did some searches for coin collecting storage and here’s what I found (at the bottom)
You might try a hobby store or something too, . . . → Read More: Need help organizing my coin collection!?

I have always felt that Big Boi was more than good enough to hold his own. But unfortunately, when you become wealthy, you succumb to Yes-Men and you listen less to the streets.
I agree…. Big Boi knew this album was not up to speed. And the label knew it too (but who’s to say label heads know everything…they’re off target more than they are on).

Question by ♠Escobar: Nas Controversy Continues, NY Politician Says Change Album Title Or UMG Loses Mil?
Universal Music Group may face a withdrawl of $ 84 million in state investments if the company doesn’t change the title of Nas’ forthcoming release, Nigger.
According to local New York news outlet, The Brooklyn Paper, Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries (D-Fort Greene) has requested that Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli withdraw the $ 84 million that New York’s state pension fund has invested in Universal and its parent company, Vivendi.
“[They are] profiting from a racial slur that has been used to dehumanize people of color for centuries,” Jeffries said. “It is time for Nas and other hip-hop artists to clean up their act and stop flooding the airwaves with the N-word.”
Despite prior reports that the Queens MC’s album title, Nigga, was shut down by Def Jam, Nas has since clarified that his new album will be called Nigger.
Although Universal did not respond to The Brooklyn Paper’s request for comment, a spokesman for DiNapoli, who manages the pension fund, said the comptroller “is concerned about this issue and . . . → Read More: Nas Controversy Continues, NY Politician Says Change Album Title Or UMG Loses $84 Mil?

Question by Ryan E: Why do girls like money so much? pic included………?
So I am 14 and I don’t understand why girls go all fascinated with money. I find money only a dirty piece of paper. For example I took this amount to take my girlfriend to some cloth shop and when I pull out some paper,
http://s599.photobucket.com/albums/tt75/ryanevans57/ (PICTURE ON THE VERY RIGHT)not very much not like I am bill gates holding billions.
I find the girls smile. They ask how much money do you have. I am like some pocket money. Then they just flirt with me and they can clearly see I have a girl beside me. In the media I hear girls dream about famous guy and donald drump(ugly) with a girl way out of his league.

Question by Bucky Ruckus: For those of us who remember LPs, what were some of the COOLEST album covers that you remember?
For example: “E Pluribus Funk” by Grand Funk Railroad was round, silver, and had the band’s profiles printed in relief, like a coin. Another example: The inside sleeve to Led Zep’s “In Through The Out Door” had a B/W halftone photo with a still life of a whiskey glass, an ashtray with a cigar in it, and some paper money. The “halftone dots” turned out to be watercolor paint, like in those paint-by numbers coloring books for kids. You could drag the album out at a party, wet your finger, and turn the picture to color while all your friends went,”WHOOOOOOOA, Man!”
