I am pretty sure you have a Federal Reserve Note instead of a Gold Certificate. I say that for two reasons.

(1) There were no 1914 $ 10 Gold Certificates.

(2) The"2-B" indicates the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and would not appear on a Gold Certificate.

Assuming it is a 1914 $ 10 Federal Reserve Note the value will depend upon:

(1) the color of the seal
(2) if the seal is blue the signatures on the bill and
(3) the condition of the bill.

The bills with red seals are worth more than the bills with blue seals.

Of the bills with blue seals those with the signatures of Burke and Glass are worth more.

If the bill is in "good" condition it is probably worth less than $ 100. If you are lucky enough to have a bill in "Gem Crisp Uncirculated (65)" condition it is probably worth over $ 1,000 if it has a blue seal and over $ 5,000 if it has a red seal. (These are the prices a retailer would charge when selling the bill to a collector. The same retailer would not pay as much when buying the bill.)

Ron Paul is not as Anarchist or Corporatist as you depict him to be. He does want to limit/remove government programs, but not even close to the extent you think. No politician could ever have a chance in hell at winning an election without being somewhat moderate. It's just as stupid to say that Obama is a Marxist or Sanatorium is a Fascist

you ran off the rails when you equated conservatives with Ron Paul. Ron Paul is as conservative as Jimmuh Cautuh was. as for going back to the gold standard, there isn't enough gold in the known universe to equal the U.S. economic output today, so that's a non starter

"Whenever I see "tards" and "moron" I know I have come across another liberal poster child"

So does that mean when I see a neo con using the word 'libtard',that means they are a closet lib thats just trying to discredit the right wing?

Forgot your meds again today old boy?

There would be fewer people as there was before money became (mainstream). for example, when the barter and trade system was in place our families were smaller and smarter about how to take care of themselves. But it can't all be taken away at once... pandimonium would ensue.

Money is power.

Its hard to know whatt the world would be like without it, or if it would function at all.

Wouldn't we as humans find something else to fight over?

Power abhors a vacuum. So there would always be power, even if it's by committee.

As for money, it's been tried ....before currency was invented. It did not make people any happier than they are now ...it actually made their life harder.

Would we all be happy without money and power? Sure, if you don't mind raising chickens to trade with the guy that raises wheat and makes bicycles. As long as you don't mind the utter chaos and anarchy that would ensue if there was absoutely no power structure. As long as you don't mind pure darwinism where the strong will survive and the weak will die off. For instance, computer geeks are necessary in our current system because we need our technology to work. If we had no money, there would be no use for them, and the foot ball players would subjugate 'geeky' type people and take their food, water and shelter.

Ever watched about 20 or 30 kids on a playground - or one of those little play areas in the mall? Utter chaos, no structure, no Idea about wealth, power or money. That is the type of cluster f*ck I am talking about. Everyone milling around, wondering what to do next, and doing their own thing, with no efficency or effectivness.

Think about this a little further...
