Best answer:
Answer by Scott StevensonWithout knowing more it’s impossible to give you an exact value, but most small-sized US currency (IOW anything issued since 1928) isn’t worth a whole lot over face value unless the bill has almost no sign of wear, or there is something unusual about the bill
If the $ 2 bills are in “typical” condition, you might get somewhere between $ 3-$ 10 each depending on the year, signature combination, and exactly how nice the bills are. The $ 1 bills are probably worth $ 1.50-$ 5.
You might want to check the date on the $ 5, since there weren’t any 1933 dated $ 5 bills printed (they started printing $ 5 silver certificates in 1934, and Series 1934 . . . → Read More: value 1936 paper money $ 2?

US $ 100,000 bill (“Gold Certificate”) series of 1934, with Wilson on it, is worth?
And what can one do with it?
Best answer:
Answer by JoeyVThe $ 100,000 bill was a bank transfer note and was never in general circulation. Virtually all of them were destroyed and the few remaining ones are in museums. Thus, they aren’t for sale. If you have one, it’s undoubtedly fake because there are lots of fake $ 100K bills around.

I live in Canada where we have loonies ($ 1 coins) and toonies ($ 2 coins). I’ve been receiving a lot of $ 1 American bills lately and it got me wondering why Canada opted for coins over bills for the smaller change? All of our bills are different colours anyway ($ 5 is blue, $ 10 is purple, $ 20 is green)…
Best answer:
Answer by JerThe coins are cheaper to produce when the lifespan of the currency in taken into account. Paper money is much lighter.

Coin collectors are much more common than old money collectors of the paper variety, though the latter are still quite active and manage to find some rare items occasionally.
