Question by : US 0,000 bill (“Gold Certificate”) series of 1934, with Wilson on it, is worth?
US $ 100,000 bill (“Gold Certificate”) series of 1934, with Wilson on it, is worth?
And what can one do with it?
Best answer:
Answer by JoeyVThe $ 100,000 bill was a bank transfer note and was never in general circulation. Virtually all of them were destroyed and the few remaining ones are in museums. Thus, they aren’t for sale. If you have one, it’s undoubtedly fake because there are lots of fake $ 100K bills around.

Question by Patrick: 100 Sequential Bills; Worth keeping or cashing in?
This year for my birthday my grandmother got me two wads of $ 1 dollar bills instead of the same old boring check. Each “wad” has 100 bills in sequential serial numbers. the one set is a xxxxxxxxxx001 series. My question is should I keep them for inflation? Will they be worth more later? I collect coins, but not so much paper money. My research says that they are worth a bit more than face value as is. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Best answer:
Answer by EL DIABLOSpend the money, put it in the bank, or trade it for 2 $ 100′s. Most of the $ 1 that you get from the bank (if you ask for that amount) will be new bills. Where I work we get a few thousand $ 1 a week and most of them are new bills in order.

Question by Whoaskedu: Are Silver Certificates worth anything? I have a 1957 A ? ?
A 681
I51054791A (Are the other numbers on it)
I am thinking this is too late in the game it prob needs to be an older one to be worth more than face value.
Best answer:
Answer by zman492The value to a collector depends upon the condition. If the bill shows a lot of circulation it is probably worth less than $ 2.00. Even in the best possible condition the bill would be worth less than $ 20.00.
The fact that it is not too old does not always mean it is less valuable. The big thing limiting the value is the supply. There were a lot of these printed and a lot of people decided to hang on to them, increasing the supply available.

Question by TINA: How much is my 1928 5 dollar silver certificate worth?
I also have (3) 1963 5 dollar silver certificates and one of them has a star in front of the serial numbers.
Best answer:
Answer by I. B. ZoxxAccording to the catalog I am using, there were no Series 1928 $ 5 Silver Certificates. There were Series 1928 Federal Reserve Notes (green seals and serial numbers) and United States Notes (red seals and serial numbers), but no Series 1928 Silver Certificates (Blue seals and serial numbers).
Same with Series 1963. You either have Federal Reserve Notes or United States Notes. Let us know which. Also, if there is a letter with the date (for example, Series 1928 B).
